Amy Adams in full Amy Lou Adams (born 20th of August 1974 in Aviano Italy) American actress, especially noted for her critically-acclaimed portrayals of naive and charming characters. Adams began her career as a child of seven within Castle Rock Colorado. In the mid-1990s she began performing professionally and dancing with Colorado's Dinner Theatre and the Country Dinner Playhouse in Colorado. Then in Minnesota, at a local theatre she was chosen to be a part of an unrealized documentary film about beauty pageants called Drop Dead Gorgeous. Following her successful screen debut, in which she played an unfriendly, but obnoxious contestant, Janet relocated from Minnesota to Los Angeles where she began professional acting. The husband of her Tony Curtis was her partner between June 1950 and September 1992. She had two children, Kelly Curtis as well as Jamie Lee Curtis. The actor Norma Shearer Leigh secured a deal with MGM and started her career as a film actress in the late 1940s. Through the years that followed, she appeared in many well-known films like Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (1960) as well as Living It Up by Martin and Lewis (a 1954 film).
