Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp has been a Canadian actor for a long time. Her name is well-known due to the roles she played on film and television. There is a huge fanbase both on American as well as Canadian television. Emily began to become interested in performing arts when she was in her 12th grade. She visited her older sister Katie on the set of a film. Once she discovered her passion in acting Emily decided to enroll in acting classes and began auditioning. At first, she was able to land a couple of commercials before being selected for the Canadian children's horror television series Are You Scared of the Dark? The only scene that she was in was one with no sound. The actress got her first big breakthrough at fifteen when she was spotted as a regular in the WB series Glory Days. Emily's role in Glory Days, a show on WB, which was canceled nine episodes later, caught the attention and interest of Greg Berlanti from Dawson's Creek. Emily has also been a professional dancer, a photographer and was listed as among the top 20 Teen's actresses. The Maxim's Hot 100 2014 list ranked her at number 51.
