Jennifer Garner, born April 17, 1972 in Houston, Texas, was raised within Charleston West Virginia. William John Garner was her father, and was a chemical engineer at Union Carbide. Patricia Ann, her mother was a professor at a nearby university. To follow in the footsteps of her father, she obtained a degree in chemical engineering. This includes the advancement of education, nutrition, and literacy as well as early childhood education. Garner is on the board since the year 2014. Garner promotes early childhood educational. She is an ambassador and regularly interacts with families that are involved in the organization's Early Steps to School Success program. The program guides parents on ways to support youngsters to learn.
