Molly Tarlov is an American actress who is famous for her starring role as Sadie Saxton in the teen comedy-drama television series Awkward from 2011. Tarlov was was raised in Manhattan, New York, as the younger of two daughters. At the age of 10years old, Tarlov started her acting career with the production Bye Bye Birdie, at Little Red School House. The group of 7th graders who attended the show were awestruck. When she was older, she spent the summers in Paris as a student at NYU Tisch's Tisch School of the Arts located at Interlochen Center for the Arts. She trained in a range of acting styles and received her bachelor of Arts in Theatre at Bennington College. The Atlantic Theater Company was an additional place where she learned. Molly also integrated writing into her show in the LAByrinth Theatre master course. Molly gave away her winter coat and bought a pair black sunglasses on her trip for Los Angeles. Her quick rise to fame was when she landed a three word role on iCarly which attracted lots of attention by her family and friends. She has appeared on several TV shows and has produced Caitlin in the role of Winnie Holzman as well as Savannah Dooley in ABC Family's Huge. Molly loves to pretend that she is good at basketball even when it's not true. Her favourite writers include David Mamet, Henrik Ibsen and Lauren Iungerich.
